One of the greatest things I have ever done in life was to help someone else do well in their business.
It makes you feel so good to see others succeed and know that you at least had a little part in that success. It is sometimes the little things you do for people that truly count but to make it even better, continue to do the little things even when they are not asking for your assistance.
The one thing I truly like to do is connect people. Not just connect because I have collected their business card from some networking event, to truly connect them with an introduction through email, telephone call, or through sending cards or postcards. This type of connection will keep you in the minds of others when they are looking for something you provide. Networking is not about how many people you meet; it is about how many people you can truly introduce to others. It is after all, who knows you, not who you know”.
