Photography and Art
People, pets, nature, fashion and dance are my photographic areas. Also artistic images for ads, cds, bookcovers.
I search for an image charged with story, emotion, sensuousness, passion, delight or joy.
I'm drawn to color and pattern. I think of a photograph as a poem. Art within a framework that says something to somebody.
The most satisfying moments come from capturing the essence of a person or a dog, through a look, glint and rapport with their environment and the window of the camera.
Much of my current work is with artist Ellie Fidler. We like dogs and cats and all manner of pets. We blend her artwork, especially her patterned fabric backgrounds and her painterly gifts, with my photography.
