"...the community photo contest at West Valley Art Museum is showing a variety of pet pictures taken by the general public of their pets in artsy gear, doing 'artsy' things; or looking artful in an artistic way. One photo was chosen to be used through the next year in posters and advertising for the Museum.

The winner of that distinction was Ellie Fidler in her photo rendering of her dog 'Buddy', in a style that mimicked the posters of Andy Warhol."

West Valley Art Museum Curators Lori Toczek and George Palovich said that the entries were amazing and funny and clearly everyone loved their pets. On exhibit are photos by Beverly Hall, Rick Dinneen, Beth and Rich Ott, Chantel Husman, Nancy LaCasse, Aretha Hartman, Suzanne Seng, Gary and Leslie Jann, Lee and Tom Carroll, Zita Powell, Lunetta Crenshaw, Kathryn Bomar, Skelli Dedmon, Cheryl Morgavan, Kathryn Sins, Barb and Dick Lehman, Michael Cunningham, Karen Ferguson, Sarah Quill, Janet Trisler, Emily and Ken Jennings, Alma Golazeski, R R Binkowski, Dylan Amburgey and Amy Stewart.

Also on exhibit is the annual juried show 'Celebrating Art Of The West Valley IV', 'The Real Dog And Pony Show', 'Chaos On Canvas: The Art Of Hilario'; and 'Asia III: From Island To Continent'.
