Artists and Galleries in Contra Costa
11/19/2008 Valley Art Gallery in Walnut Creek

A non-profit organization representing California, Bay Area artists since 1949.

Featuring paintings for sale & for rent, fine crafts and jewelry.

The history of Valley Art Gallery goes back 60 years, yet our goal remains the same today - to bring quality art from emerging and established Bay Area artists to the community.

Our nonprofit, all volunteer gallery features art by more than 150 artists. New works are acquired into the gallery by either jury selection or invitation for an exhibition.

Most of the artwork is available for rent or for purchase, with purchase prices ranging from $150 to $3500. Our reasonable rental fees are available to individuals and businesses.

A wonderful selection of fine crafts, unique ceramics and jewelry is also available for sale.

Opening show receptions provide an opportunity to meet the artists. Visitors are welcome to attend these gallery events.

Additionally, Valley Art Gallery enhances art programs in selected schools through our annual Gloria Marshall Memorial Gift.

The Gallery is open 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and occasionally on evenings and Sunday.
