Jeff and Dyan taste Vinturi 

Dyan Cushing, owner of WineStyles, made a decision to leave the corporate world and slip into something a little more comfortable before retiring. Looking for just the right business didn't take long. Her adventure in wine started in the 70's when there weren't a lot of options for wine tasting, so she and her husband started their own informal wine club.

The WineStyles concept was a perfect match for her passion and enthusiasm to share the wine experience with others. As it turns out, the transition is taking a little longer than expected, so she still has a full time job in Information Technology as well as spending nights and weekends in the store.

Jeff Loo, is the Gerant de Vin at WineStyles. He is a graduate of the California Culinary Academy. There he excelled in fusion cuisine and developed a passion for wine. Jeff worked at Mahoney Vineyards in the Carneros region of Napa where he ran the tasting room, planned events, lead tours and even pitched in making and bottling wine.

His goals are to become a Master Sommelier and own his own restaurant. WineStyles turned out to be the perfect match to continue working towards these goals. He not only gets to work with wine from all over the world, but also educates customers and helps them develop their palate.
